The content is designed to provide patients with the information they need to positively modify their behavior so that they can better self-manage and self reliant over time. Providing the patient with digestible bites of information over time is more likely to improve outcomes then overwhelming patient with lots of information at clinic or infrequent mailings.
Videos and Tips content items can be deployed individually (one item at a time) or as a group (for example, a series of video clips) in just a few clicks. Actual deployment dates for each content item can be scheduled individually or made available all at once. All content items can be sent to an individual or a selectable group of patients.
Healthium maintains a library of content for provider group making it easy for providers to deploy content items conveniently and efficiently. Video content includes information on healthcare issues such as disease management, eating and exercise lifestyle as well as instructional self-help on how to use the Healthium system. Patients can view video content on-demand as often as they want. A more informed patient is likely a healthier patient.
Tips are short daily messages that reinforce the patient's healthcare protocol. Tips help engage the patient in their self-management in an entertaining way.
